Ancamine® 2814 for terrazzo flooring

Versatile and reliable epoxy curing agent

fast cure and excellent surface apparance

Ancamine® 2814 curing agent is a modified aliphatic amine curing agent intended for use with liquid epoxy resin cured at ambient or elevated temperature.

A typical epoxy terrazzo binder is 100% solids, twocomponent epoxy system that includes liquid epoxy resin and amine-based curing agent. Most existing curing agents for terrazzo application contain alkylated phenols, such as nonyl phenol, which can present a significant health concern to flooring applicators and end-users, due to a classification of these materials as endocrine disrupters. In response to these concerns and as a market leader in developing innovative curing agents, Evonik introduced Ancamine® 2814 epoxy curing agent, which contains no alkylated phenols. In addition to addressing heath concerns for terrazzo flooring applicators, Ancamine® 2814 epoxy curing agent also offers a long pot-life with rapid hardness development, low viscosity, and low color.
