Coatings can significantly enhance the surface properties of various different materials. Coatings are typically formulated with solvents. Hybridur® dispersions are a range of one-component waterborne urethane-acrylic hybrid dispersions that do not compromise on quality and advance industrial coating formulations in every performance category.

With their unique combination of urethane and acrylic properties, these innovative hybrid dispersions offer excellent wetting, adhesion, barrier and film properties. They provide outstanding corrosion resistance, durability, and weathering/ UV resistance when used in air-dry, baked or crosslinked high-performance coatings on a wide variety of substrates, including plastics, concrete, wood, metal, and previously painted surfaces. These dispersions deliver superior protection and durability for various applications, such as road paints, roofing, wood or concrete floors, decks, food package adhesives, and much more.

Hybridur® dispersions offer formulators a cost-effective alternative to standard dispersions without sacrificing performance. They have the same ease of use and VOC compliance as typical waterborne dispersions and were designed to meet the market needs for safer products and increasingly stringent low VOC requirements. Hybridur® dispersions are easy to formulate and offer fast drying and return-to-service time.

The hybrid polymers are prepared using a proprietary process technology that creates  an intimate interaction between the polyurethane and acrylic structures, unattainable through simple blending. These polymers are specifically designed for use in high-performance, VOC-compliant coatings and ink applications.
