ANCAMINE® R 215 is a new amine hardener for hot cured epoxy bars that combines the advantages of polyamines in epoxy systems
Evonik has developed a new diamine hardener for hot cured epoxy composite bars. This new hardener exhibits an outstanding performance profile with regard to both mechanical and chemical properties. Compared to common solutions Ancamine® R 215 enables rebars with lower lifetime costs.
Rebars based on Ancamine® R 215 overcompensate the disadvantages of steel rebars and existing composite rebar systems. Due to it‘s properties it is the ideal solution for corrosive applications.

Ancamine® R 215 combines the advantages of polyamines in epoxy systems: low mix viscosity and high reactivity. Epoxy systems cured with Ancamine® R 215 exhibit excellent chemical resistance and high heat distortion temperatures as well as low magnetic and thermal conductivity.
