Amine-based epoxy curing agents
Sunmide® contains almost all types of amine-based epoxy curing agents including polyamides, amidoamines, aliphatic amines, cycloaliphatic amines, and phenalkamines.
Sunmide® curing agents are a well-known brand in Asia. The Sunmide® brand name encompasses almost all types of amine-based epoxy curing agents including polyamides, amidoamines, aliphatic amines, cycloaliphatic amines, and phenalkamines. The Sunmide® brand also includes modified versions e.g. adducts of the base chemistries for improved performance.
Phenalkamines are a special group of Mannich bases. Mannich bases are the reaction products of formaldehyde, amines, and a carbon acid. In the case of phenalkamines, the acid is cardanol. Phenalkamines are known for their fast cure at low temperatures as well as strong adhesion to metal surfaces. Phenalkamines are most often used in marine primer applications.

Sunmide® 305-70X is a polyamide amine widely used as a room temperature curing agent of epoxy resins in solvent-based protective coatings. When used with solid epoxy resin, Sunmide® 305-70X has good adhesion, high flexibility, long pot life and all around good properties.
Sunmide® 353N is a fast dry and fast cure colvent type hardener. When used together with tertiary amine such as DMP-30, it can also applied at low temperature.

Sunmide® 307D-60 is a polyamide amine in xylene and n-butanol. It displays very good thixotropic properties. Sunmide® 307D-60 is most commonly used for fast cure and fast dry applications for industrial epoxy coatings.
Sunmide® CX-1151 curing agent is a phenalkamine based modified polyamine. This product can be used for high-solids ambient-cure epoxy coatings by using liquid and semi-solid epoxy resin. Sunmide® CX-1151 curative provides fast drying time at low temperature, high corrosion and chemical resistance. Sunmide® CX-1151 curative is very well suited for use in the most demanding heavy-duty coatings applications at low temperatures.
Sunmide® P-1003 is an isolated type amine adduct used as a room temperature curing agent for epoxy coatings. It has excellent chemical resistance properties and has good adhesion on concrete and steel surface during surface coating.
Sunmide® WH-1000 is a low viscosity, high molecular weight, polyamide amine adduct for general purposes, that is dissolved in water. This water-based hardener has the ability to effectively cure and emulsify many epoxy resins in water. Sunmide® WH-1000 formulations based on liquid epoxy resins are all solvent-free, and have good corrosion protection and adhesion properties which are especially suitable for use in concrete.
