Imidazole accelerators for structural adhesives and composites

Imicure® imidazoles are designed for use as a latent curing agent/curing accelerator for epoxy resins.

Imicure® imidazole accelerators in the reaction between epoxy resins and other curing agents offering a broad range of latency, rapid cure beyond activation temperatures, high thermal and chemical resistance for structural adhesives and composites.

PRODUCT PORTFOLIO

Imicure® AMI-1 curing agent is a liquid, elevated temperature curing agent for epoxy resins. It is readily compatible with both liquid and solid epoxy resins, and because it is a catalytic curing agent, it is used at low loadings of 1-5 phr.

Imicure® AMI-2 curing agent is an elevated temperature curing agent for epoxy systems. It is readily compatible with both liquid and solid epoxy resins, and because it is a catalytic curing agent, it is used at low loadings of 1-5 phr.

Imicure® AMI-2T curing agent is an elevated temperature curing agent for epoxy systems. It is readily compatible with both liquid and solid epoxy resins, and because it is a catalytic curing agent, it is used at low loadings of 1-5 phr. It is a good accelerator for dicyandiamide, anhydride and phenolic curing agents.

Imicure® EMI-24 is a 2-ethyl-4-methyl imidazole, a highly reactive, low-melting imidazole developed as a latent curing agent/curing accelerator for epoxy resins.

Imicure® imidazole curing agent is an elevated temperature curing agent for epoxy resins. It is readily compatible with both liquid and solid epoxy resins, and because it is a catalytic curing agent, it is used at low loadings of 1-5 phr. It is a good accelerator for dicyandiamide, anhydride and phenolic curing agents.
